Couple: Emma + Ian

Venue: The Cruin

Date:  21st October 2017

We were back at the Cruin a few weeks ago to photograph the wedding of Ian and Emma. We haven’t been to the Cruin for a little while so were really looking forward to having the chance to go back and photograph at such a picturesque wedding venue.

It’s set on the banks of Loch Lomond so provided a wonderful backdrop for Emma and Ian as they shared their nuptials in front of their closest friends and family.

After a really lovely, personal wedding ceremony there was plenty of time for the new Mr and Mrs Brown to mingle with their guests before we headed outside to take the formal group photos.

We were all really keen to get down to the water and get out on the jetty for some photos, but unfortunately, the wind was having none of it and I think we’d all have found ourselves in the Loch :)  We were still able to get right down to the banks though and got some beautiful wedding photos with Loch Lomond in the background.

We love October weddings as the colours at this time of year are just perfect. Loads of amazing oranges, yellows, and nice low sun too – makes for absolutely cracking wedding photographs!

The rest of the evening was spent back in the warmth and comfort of the Cruin dancing the night away as the DJ spun his decks and had everyone up dancing away into the wee small hours.
